Course Title: Basic Painting
Project: The Color of Light

Objective: To study how light changes in terms of color and value when the light source has a color filter. Using only a palette knife to paint students observed  a geometric shape in order to make clear choices about how many colors they would mix to represent the mask and surrounding area next to the shape.  They were able to observe how the planes on the shape and mask change in color value as they move away from the light source.
